Innovative Refrigeration Systems Begins Operations in Expanded Manufacturing Campus
Innovative Refrigeration Systems is excited to announce that on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, operations officially began inside our newly acquired manufacturing space in Lyndhurst, Virginia.
This milestone marks significant progress on Innovative’s previously announced $19 million expansion in Augusta County. The addition of four new manufacturing spaces expands the company’s campus to 50 acres and brings total manufacturing capacity to 430,000 square feet.
Expanding Our Capabilities
By moving into these new manufacturing areas, Innovative effectively doubles overall manufacturing and engineering capabilities. Innovative is proud to continue investing in American manufacturing, workforce development, and leading-edge cooling technologies engineered with ammonia (R-717) and carbon dioxide (R-744) refrigerant systems. This increased manufacturing footprint ensures we can scale production to meet growing demand for efficient cooling systems using low-GWP refrigerants across mission-critical industries, including cold chain, food and beverage, data centers, and the life sciences.
