Innovative’s recent construction project with UNFI received LEED Gold Certification! LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices. To receive LEED certification, building projects must satisfy prerequisites and earn points to achieve different levels of certification. LEED-certified buildings are resource efficient — they use less water and energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. As an added bonus, they save money for our customers! The LEED certification process is designed to inspire project teams to seek innovative solutions that are better for our environment and better for our communities.
