Every year, OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down Week brings attention to fall hazards, a top cause of workplace injuries and one of the leading causes of death in construction. While safety is a top priority for our crew everyday, this nationwide campaign prompts us to take some extra time to elaborate on this specific area of safety, and ensure everyone is aware and knowledgeable on fall protection and procedures. At Innovative Refrigeration Systems, we go beyond simply checking boxes. As part of this initiative, our entire manufacturing workforce focused on reviewing safety systems and harnesses, actively training, and ultimately reinforcing the importance and commitment to our own individual safety and acknowledging our coworkers’ safety alongside us.
